My Life (in as many posts as it takes) #80

In which I learned a painful lesson




I discovered some very interesting things this week. The first one (And most important one in my mind) is that I never was to exercise again. (I only mean that half jokingly) You see, I run every morning, but since its gotten cold, I haven't been able to so I had this brilliant idea that I would try out a video exercise program. So, Monday morning I tried one. It was an eight minute video and I got though six minutes before my limbs would not let me go further. By bedtime I was horribly sore and for the next to days my body made me pay for trying to help it. Yeah, that was interesting. I've decided not to give up on the program, but to perhaps only do half of it to begin with. Or else I could go around all week long barely able to move. ;)























So, have any of y'all had a bad experience with exercise? If so, please comment below, I want to know I'm not alone in this. ;)

  2. I totally understand ;) About a month ago I thought I'd go for a jog, ignoring the fact that I had been sick for almost two weeks, and in that time I had hardly eaten anything. Yeah, not the smartest choice ever. I was so sore, out of breath, and completely out of energy by the time I got home.

    1. It's alright. It was a lessoned learned. Never push so hard that your mussels won't forgive you unless your in grave danger. ;D

  4. About the only exercise funny I have had recently is (accidentally) doing the splits during an Ultimate Frisbee game. Ow!
    That sounds like a great program just maybe in smaller doses! :) Hope you feel better soon!

  5. I've done this really hard cardio program that's a half hour long. I was very red in the face and tired by the time that was over. It was a killer! ;)

    Keep up the good work(ing out)! ;) It'll pay off! Maybe try pilates sometime. You might like that better. :) I enjoy pilates, actually! It's hard work but it doesn't leave you completely out of breath. ;D

    2. Actually you don't have to flexible to do pilates, really! And, no, I don't do pilates all the time, but what I've done I've liked. :) (As of recently, I've done a mix of cardio with weights, pilates, yoga, etc.) ;P
      Let me know if you try pilates!!! You might enjoy them... ;D

  7. I wish I could give you some exercising advice, but the only exercise stuff I do right now are walking around while I do my chores (LOL) and walk two miles a day (or, most days, it's been too cold to do it lately) with my family.
    I would suggest maybe only doing two minutes or so a day of the cardio program...maybe then you won't feel as sore. ;)

    1. Haha, yeah, I get a good bit of my extercise by just walking as well. ;D How fun! Where do y'all normally walk? =D

    2. We usually just walk around a couple of blocks in our neighborhood, but in the summer we sometimes go to the park and walk on the trails there. ;)

    3. How cool! We live in the country, so walking down the road isn't as easy. I have to take my dog, a sibling and a phone. ;D But its cool. =)
