How Is It?


How is it 

That I can hate something 

And love it at the same time? 

 Storms are terrifying 

Yet they awaken something 

Deep inside of me 

That nothing else does

Darkness provides so many 

Scary possibilities 

But that’s also where

My soul finds peace 

Heights are breathtaking 

Yet somehow they make me 

Want to be more adventurous 

How is that?
