My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #64

In which I have a lot of random photos and seven photos of squirrel. 

Well, this week we've been showing our friends around Texas, which means we've been in Austin a lot and my older sisters will tell you I have a Disney Princess complex. Animals love me. If I go twords a squirrel, chances are that it will pose for me. I really love this because it means I've been able to get a lot of great photos of them! There are a lot of squirrel in Autin, so this past week I have gotten photos of six different ones to show you! Enjoy!

Okay, the above squirrel is actually a famous little guy. Hes made frount page news because he is a rare bread of white squirrel. He was really cute.

Food For Thought #35

Delight yourself in The Lord. 

Today I did something I hadn't done awhile, I went outside and just watched the sunset and delighted in the colors God was using. Now, I watch the sunset a lot but its been awhile since I've felt that fully delighted in what God was doing. I was grinning ear to ear. 

I am prone to go though my days going "Sure, I'll go out and spend time alone with God later." and I had forgotten how happy it makes me feel to just sit and delight in the Lord. I hope to be doing it more from now on.

Psalm 37:4 (NIV)

    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

In which we have friends over. 

Well, I don't have a long time to write today because we have two amazing girls staying with us from out of state. Its lots of fun having two extra sisters for two weeks, we're getting to show them a lot of our favorite things.

Food For Thought #34

About the domino affect.

I believe that your attitude is almost always part of a damino affect. Weather you are happy, mad, sad, frustraited or anything else, you affect the people around you. Sometimes I don't think we realize how much that matters to the people around us. You have the power to change what people think of a day. Maybe its just not getting frustraited at the waiter for taking a long time with your food, or trying to cheer your family up. You can change someones day. 

Are we really ignoring all these amazing chances to make life happier for the people around us?

In which I had a very busy week. 

Well, it was a crazy week. We went out almost every day, I went though my room very thoroughly, and on top of that had school. So, I didn't get a lot of reading or writing done this week. But, I'm working my way through a long list of things to do.
