Crazy is begining to be normal

My Life (in as many posts as it takes) #109

Well, I'm just sitting here, with my cat sprawled out on my lap, both of us quite happy. This week has been busy, which used to be abnormal, but I'm beginning to think that's just what life is now.
With the new month comes new challenges, and to-do lists. I don't know how those things manage to multiply over the end of the month, but they do.
This month I'm doing a photography challenge, which I'll be sharing at the end of the month. I'm also am attempting to edit book. Thats not my favorite thing, but I like getting my books into a readable version.
Here are some photos for your enjoyment (Hopefully)!

(Yeah, I said rose season was over, and then my dad got my mom some roses and they were SO pretty I couldn't resist!)

My dog knows how to get me to pet him. How could I resist that face??
I hope you have an awesome week!

Awesome siblings and beautiful bubbles

My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #106

I just like to take a post to say, siblings are the most awesome people in the universe. I would not get to do half the awesomely crazy things I do without siblings. Okay, so they also help me with really mundane projects, which is really cool. My older sister, Rebekkah, is my best friend in the world. Why? So many reasons that I can't count them all, but conversations like this have a lot to do with it:

Me: So, Rebekkah, what are you doing this morning?
Rebekkah: I don't know.
Me: Great!
Rebekkah: *looks at me suspiciously* What do you have in mind?
Me: I've been wanting to take photos of bubbles, but I need someone to blow them for me. Will my best friend blow them for me?
Rebekkah: Sure.

So Rebekkah blew me tons of bubbles, and I ran around like crazy getting photos. There is no way to look sane while chasing bubbles around the yard, just sayin'.

Yeah, siblings are the best. So, you can all know, all the bubbles in this post were blown by my awesome sister Rebekkah.

This is, by far, my favorite bubble photo I have ever taken.

Just wanted to make sure you all knew that Shadow had that rock, and would not let it go, you no longer have to worry about it.

Okay, so I may have gotten Rebekkah in this, but I still love all the bubbles!

Isn't this little guy adorable? He's smiling!

Spider webs are awesome for photos.

And I leave you with this perfect photo of a cat being completely dignified.

Whats something one of your siblings have done for you recently?
Ever tried to chaise bubbles to take photos?

Crazy week

My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #105

Hello everyone! It's been a hectic week of just barely getting things done on time and missing things. Blog posts have been missed (sorry about Wednesday), word counts have been crammed in at ridiculous hours of the night, books just haven't gotten read, reviews wait weeks to be written, my room has been neglected. But you know what? It's a good week. I'm eleven days into CampNaNoWriMo and my plot is still holding together (Amazingly). I've been doing lots of photography. The kitchen, which we have been remodeling for over two weeks now, will be done tonight. I had the amazing opportunity to Advance read for an author.
This list could go on and on, but I've got to go now.

Enjoy the photos!

A kitten and my last day of being 16

My Life (For as many posts as it takes) #104

Happy Independence day!!! To celebrate my family has completely torn up a good portion of our house and we're putting in new flooring! ;) Okay, so we're not actually doing that to celebrate, its just when we had time to do it.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) I'll be turning seventeen. I'm really not sure what to think of that yet. Does anybody else know that scared, yet excited feeling when you are about to do something big? Thats how I feel this birthday. This year has already been packed with life changing and building stuff and I can only see that increasing as I turn seventeen. Let's just pray that I manage to survive myself. Just in the last week alone I've managed to get a dog bite from a dog that is not up on his rabies shot. (Prayers for that would be appreciated, but don't worry, because the doctor said the chance of me getting any illness is SUPER small and we have taken measures to make sure I don't get anything.)
So yeah, surviving myself is harder than it sounds. ;P

I do want to thank y'all for being so awesome and reading my blog, because that alone is a birthday present to me. Y'alls comments, friendships and messages have by far been the best thing about blogging. THANK YOU!!!

I already feel birthday-ed with all the awesome things that have gone on this week: Getting new books, messaging friends, getting to see a live production of Beauty and the Beast, texting, getting funny emails, going out with siblings, taking goofy group selfies in the back of a car, getting autographs from actors, being able to hang out with friends, and being told you had a birthday present and going out to find this:

My sister Rebekkah, my dog Luke, and my kitten Shadow, all of which have been around awhile, but they made perfect presents. =)
Now for a photo dump of pictures of Shadow:

This is my favorite photo of him. Hes just so cute!

Shadow and Luke meeting.

And he can fit on my camrea bag. (Rebekkah took this photo)

He is actually attacking my skirt, not sucking on it like the photo makes it look.

He atacked his own tail.

I just loved the look on his face. XD

Trying to get the 'mouse'

What are you doing for Independance Day?
Whats been the best part of your week so far?
