My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #77

Well, here we are with Christmas over for another year, 2016 in just a few days, and if your like me your probably busy cleaning up after Christmas and making plans for the new year.

I'll be doing a post on New year's day about my plans for the year, both about my life and plans for the blog. I've got some big goals when it comes to the blog, but if there is something you would like to see/not see on my blog in the coming year, suggestions on how I can get better, please comment and tell me! Believe me, I want this blog to be as good as it can be for y'all so please don't be afraid to tell me your opinion!

My Christmas was spent with my family, mainly just sitting on the couch, talking about random stuff. I also managed to down a lot more Chocolate then anyone recovering from a cold should, but I enjoyed myself doing it. ;D I hope you had a good Christmas!

(Note: All these photos are from about a month ago. They somehow got shoved in the back of my drafts folder.)

My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #76

In which I've had a cold, and have gotten nothing done.

This week has been pretty pathetic for my to-do list. I had been hoping to write, clean and get ready for Christmas but then I got a cold. It was not bad but I had a fever two days and now I've had a soar throat and stuffed up nose for two as well.

But lifes good, I get tomorrow to finish recovering before the holidays hit me.

I do have one funny story to share though.
I went to a nursing home to pick up my siblings who had been singing Christmas carols there, and while waiting out in the hallway a ninety-six year old man stopped to talk to us. After a moment of conversation he looked me up and down and said "You are as cute as a teddy bear in cotten." It was so cute yet so funny, I was grinning so hard. I wanted to laugh, but he meant it so sweetly I couldn't. Needless to say, I doubt I'll ever forget that complement.

Mushroom.

A rose bud.

Have you ever been given a compliment that's sweet and funny at the same time?
Comment below and share your story, please!

Food For Thought #47

In which I have gotten a cold.

I wish I could write a deep thinking post for you but I got a cold. Actually I had a cold for two days and today I am mostly recovered (Praise the Lord) but my brain capacity is still not up to its normal speed so I put a couple verses to photos again.
I will openly admit that they are not great, but I hope you like them anyway!

Please comment below with your favorite verse(s)!

My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #75

This has been an exhausting weekend. On Saturday and Sunday I participating in a live nativity. I was an angel (Its rather funny to think about me being an angel with my personality) and I was also at least six inches taller then every other angel there. That had to do with the fact they were all under twelve but it was rather hilarious.
Since it was a walkthrough nativity, meaning we preformed it over and over, and over again. It was awesome, even if I did get a bit tiard of singing silent night. ;D
Overall, it was a good experience

Here are some random photo for your enjoyment.

Aparently this was Cuddles box and he was not moving.

Food for Thought #46

About Adam

When God created Adam, the very first human, God knew that he was going to sin.

God knew about the generations of sin that would follow.

He knew about every bad thing that would happen.

He knew about all the pain.

He knew about every tear that would be shed.

He knew about all the hopeless nights.

He knew about everything.

Yet the day he made Adam, and thus allowed for all of us to follow, God said that everything he had made was good.  He said that you and I were good. He loved us even then.

So why, if even God thought we were worth it despite all the bad, do we think were not good enough? God could have easily just not made Adam. But he didn't. He made Adam because he wanted the chance to get to know you and me. He wanted us to have the chance to know him and love him.

Because despite all the evil that came into the world, God gave us so much to enjoy and his grace to keep us going. He wanted the chance for you to love and be loved and no failure, sin, or anything you do can make him not love you.

My Life (in as many posts as it takes) #74

You may notice this post is really late. That is not because Mikayla has been to busy to post, its because Mikayla decided to schedule it and it got scheduled wrong.

You know what; its been a crazy busy week. Also bittersweet. I barely got any school done. One of my siblings in going through a hard time. I feel like I've been pressed for time therefore causing me to not be able to spend as much time on friends, blogging, and writing as I would like. But you know what; there's been a lot of good to. My room is all decorated for Christmas, I got to spend a lot of time with my family and some friends, and most of all Gods grace comes when we need it most.

Enjoy the photos!
