Writing Wednesday #20

I finished NaNo!!!!

This was one awesome month. While I had many ups and downs in my writing, I felt like it was great and I really accomplished something.

I wrote 50,000 words in 27 days.

I commented on more blogs

I managed to actually keep the blog running, even if it wasn’t great.

I managed to do school.

I survived.

I didn’t kill any characters.

I may be able to tunnel into my room someday through the mess.

Yeah, its been an awesome month. Thank you all for putting up with my odd posts, late posts, brain dead-ness and so on. Y’all are the best blog readers ever! Thank you!

I came through NaNo with three complete stories, one 75% of the way done and two 25% of the way done.
Needless to say that my three complete stories need a lot of editing; but I love them. My 75% done on I am working on wrapping up and the two last ones will be waiting for a while.
I look forward to showing y'all a bit about each book over the next couple of months.

Thank you so much for reading my blog!

My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #73

In which I almost ruined everything on my desk.

Sorry this post is a bit late, it was a busy day. I was trying to see all of what I could ruin on my desk this morning. ;)

While doing school (Math to be specific), I had a large cup of water that I spilled directly on the math book. It also managed to hit my lamp. And my planner. And my Ipod.

You want to know how awesome God is?

Not a single thing was ruined. Not even my Ipod that got water all over the frount. Granted, my math book now has wrinkles all in it, but its still there! My planner took it a little worse than everything else, its now got bubbles all over it, but its only for though the last of the year so it doesn't matter.

It was an awesome morning just because of how much did not get ruined.

Have you had any close calls with your stuff recently?

Food For Thought #44

What are we saying?

Today I suddenly realized what my acquaintances and I were saying. Lately I have seen all over the internet, and done it myself where we are making out bad traits to be good. Its things like procrastination, envy, hatred, and simply not caring. Were making light of them and laughing at ourselves about them like there a good thing.

No matter how much I joke, procrastination is not good. God gave me my time to be a good steward of, and when I procrastinate when I know there's an important project to be done, I'm not being a good steward.

When I laugh about being really envious of my friends stuff, I'm breaking the commandment that says love does not envy.

When I say I hate someone, I am not thinking about what God told us in Matthew 5:44.

And when I see someone hurting, and don't care for them, even if I convince myself its not my problem, I am passing by Jesus. Matthew 25:45 whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.
So why are we making light of these? Why are we joking about these when we should be wanting to do something about it?

My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #72

In which I have been tagged.

I wish I could sound super cool and say I did something interesting this week, but, unfortunately, I haven't.
I've managed to stumble through school this month, and get stuck in math. Read when I'm supposed to be writing and write when I'm supposed to be sleeping.
So instead of boring you with more detals like this, I'm going to share a tag. =)

The Rules:
1. Link up to the person who created the tag (Nabila)
2. Put a link to the person who tagged you (Katie)
3. Tag at least 3 other people to do this tag
4. Put the picture above in your post.
1. What grade are you in?
I am in about three different grades according to subject. Technically though,  I'm in eleventh grade.
2.  What kind of school are you in? (elementary, middle, or high school)?
High School.
3. What is your opinion of school?
I love it. Homeschooling is the best! There are some hard days when I just don't feel like doing school or a certain subject, but I do enjoy it none the less.

4. What is your favorite subject overall?
Math and science. I could never pick between them. I love math for its logic and the puzzle. I love science because I love figuring out how things work.

5. What is your favorite academic subject (reading or math)?
I was not aware that reading was an academic subject. I love reading.

6. What is your favorite non-academic subject?
Writing.

I tag:
Allie from Spreading my Joy
and whoever wants to do this!
