Wordy tags

My Life (In as many posts as it takes) #107

Alright so today I have got some tags! First off I've got the Wisteria Writing Tag! Thank you Allie from Sincerely Allie, for tagging me!
The Rules:

1. thank the blogger who nominated you
2. answer the ten questions
3. add ten (writing or book) questions of your own
4. nominate ten people

Are you writing anything at the moment? If so, what?
I am currently writing the third book in a series about a girl who gets thrown into a investigation organization’s unexpectedly.
Who inspires you to write?
My best friends and family, mainly. I find it amazing how much of a story each of us has to tell, and I get inspired by my friends life's.

What is your favorite book?
Annabeth’s War by Jessica Greyson.
What resources do you typically use when writing?
I use google a lot to look up of things while writing, such as names, and places. I also use WordHippo.com a lot to write poems.

What is your favorite genre of writing?
I love writing contemporary fiction, and historical fiction.
What are your favorite characters to write about?
My favorites are generally ones who have problems that people (Mainly myself) can relate to. One of my favorites I ever wrote was one about a girl who struggles very strongly with pride, because it helped me to deal with some of the problem myself.

When did you start writing?
When I was ten, so it was 2010.
What is a writing pet peeve that you have?
I don’t like it when I’m interrupted middle writing session. Because I get really deep into my books and I find it hard to come out when I’m into it.

What is your favorite thing to write? (stories, books, poems, skits, etc.)
Novellas. I write 10-25 thousand word books, I never have been able to manage any bigger books. I also love writing poems.
Have you ever designed a book cover? if so, can we see a picture?
I have designed several. Here are the ones that have been on published works:

So you can see, I only have one 'client', but she's definitely my favorite author.
(You can find her books on goodreads, or amazon)

I hope Allie does not mind, but her questions were just so awesome, I'm going to use them.

And now for the Power of Words Tag! Thank you Mic for tagging me!
(I've already done this tag, so some of my answers will be the same as last time, and some of them will be changed simply because I didn't want to be to boring.)

~thank the person who nominated you
~answer the 6 original text-themed questions
~add a typography/word related question of your own for those you tagged to answer
~tag 6+ bloggers and let them know
~include these rules in your post
(1)   ~ what is your favorite letter of the alphabet?
M, or L.

(2)   ~ three words that you love
Awesome, dream, hope.
(3)   ~ what are three words that you hate?
Pretty much every abbreviation.

(4)   ~ if you were to create a word, what would it be?
Something to describe that good, yet bad feeling you have when you get the end of an amazing series.
(5)   ~ what are your three favorite punctuation marks?
: ) ?  (though I think question marks are my favorite.)
Why does the kitten have a birthday hat on you might ask? It was my sisters birthday, and since she had given Shadow to me for my birthday, I decided to dress him up for her birthday. =)
(6)   ~ what are your three favorite fonts?

(7)   One saying that always annoys and or makes you laugh?

“I totes am doing this” don’t get me started on how much I hate that.

I nominate anyone who wants to do this. Again, most people I know have already done this. =P

Thanks for reading!

  4. I liked your answers to the writing tag. I started out with writing novellas, too, which was pretty fun. I also like the same genres you like, although I've never tried writing historical fiction because of all the research... I just like reading it. :)

    1. Thank you! Yeah, I've only written a couple historical fiction, and it does take a lot of research to be accurate. I'll be honest enough to say that I really didn't do much research, so those books are probably my worst because they're not accurate. =P But I'm trying to get better at that. =)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
