Colors
Can you think of what the world would look like without
color? Let me guess your mind just went to an old black and white movie; yep
well we can be glad the generation before us spared us living in a black and
white world and finally invited color in 1965. What? You think that was just
when they invented color TV's? Picky people. =)

Locked doors
Sometimes we’re obsessed with the locked door. We just can’t get it open no matter what we try and we ask God to open it and he says “Theres is a better way out of the room then that door” and we go “What!?! A door better then this one! No way! Its got to be this one!” so we stubbornly keep pulling at that door and telling God. “Hay if you took that lock off it would make it easier on both of us!” He tells us he’ll help us up to the other door but no, that locked door had to be something good and easier, otherwise why would it be locked? What if we fell while we were getting up to the door, No, it would be much easier to go though that door, if only God would unlock it. So instead of going though the other door we wait for God to open the locked door and we keep waiting then one day One of two things will happen 1: we relent that the door isn't going to open and we have God help us though the other door. 2: God will open the door for us and we’ll rush in all existed going “See I told you God, its got to be good in here!” and at first it is, until we see the reason God locked that door in the first place.

Friends
Today I was hit with how much a friend can help you, no matter how far away they are. I have a friend who used to live in Texas but moved away six years ago, her name is also Mikayla, that's actually why we met, because everyone thought it was funny that we had the same name, spelled the same way.
Even though Mikayla and I haven't seen each other in nearly six years, we've remand good friends though online chatting and emailing.
No matter if I'm in a great mode or grumpy Mikayla never ceases to make me feel even better then I did before and put a smile on my face.
She is someone that you'd be very lucky to have as your friend, I know I am.
I thank God every day that he's sent me such a good and faithful friend as Mikayla.

Hello
Well hello everyone in internet world, sorry my post is a bit late this week but I've recently acquired a slight cold so I spent most of the morning on the couch reading and snuggling my oldest sister Sarah.
Right now we are watching through Gilligan's Island season one now that we've finished season three. =)
I probably just got a lot of blank stars at that, but hay, I never said our family was normal!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
