Recently I’ve been coping some verses from Psalms and I realized just how many amazing prayers there are in it. One especially struck me this week and I thought I wanted to share it with y’all.
Psalm 119:33-37
Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees,
that I may follow it to the end.
Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.
Direct me in the path of your commands,
for there I find delight.
Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.

I like Psalm 91 and 23, but there are others, just not off the top of my head. ;) I found this really great Scripture in Psalms not too long ago, and I wrote it down, but I don't have what I wrote it on anymore. :P Yeah... ;)

Thank you for the inspiring post! I cannot choose a favorite psalm. Some days I consider highlighting the whole book of Psalms in the Bible. :)
