Food For Thought #60

Rescued 

So many of us wish for a rescue from things that are happening in our life. Rescue from the pain, from the constant ace, from the people who may be hurting us, from the things that are going on in our life that we just don't understand, from the tears, rescue from the struggle, from the disappointment, and from all the awful things that are happening. 

God knew we would need a rescue and so he sent us His Son who came to the earth, showed us his love, and died so that we could be rescued from the struggle of life. He died to take the guilt of our sins away from us if only we will accept His love. He wants us to accept because he already loves you just how you are and when you accept his love he'll help you with the struggle.

He came to rescue us, and that's what he wants to do more then anything.
