June Highlights

Hello everyone! It's time for my June Highlights!

One of my main goals for June was to go through my photos and delete a lot of unneeded ones. I didn't finish like I wanted to, but I did go through and manage to get rid of over 6,000 photos so far. I've also watched a ton of movies to keep myself awake while doing this. I'd be pretty happy not to see another movie for quiet awhile.

I got my copy of Second Impressions (a short story collection I was a part of)! And I also got Julia Ryan's poetry. Book mail is the best!

I finished writing my April Camp story "What I've Become" by writing  4.000 words in one day. I'm hoping to edit it this month.

Some of us kids when in and picked up a grill at 9:00 PM.

I got my very first indoor cat, Inkling. To all you pet owners, I aploud you. I never knew how much work it was to train the cat, and keep it out of everything. He's already managed to get his little paws on a book and ruin it. But, he also likes sitting with me when I work, which I love.

We swimming twice at big pool where a friend was house sitting and I got trampoline photos, which I've always wanted to do.

I got to walk around an old cemetery. I got some cool photos and was super careful and avoided all the poison ivy. Unfortunately my dog was not careful, so I got poison ivy through him. Thankfully it was not bad at all.

My sister and I went walking in the rain, got soaked to the bone, then got hot tea and chocolate and played a board game. Days like that are just about perfect.

Alicia and I.

I got to meet Alicia Willis!! That was so cool. Her book Darkness before the Dawn is super awesome and she also runs the coolest business of selling boxes of writing supply's. Check it out here.

We went to see a battlefield for my oldest sisters birthday. That was pretty fun.

It was an okay book month. To be honest most of those books were crammed in the last week of the month, or are supper short, so I didn't really read a lot.
But my favorite book from the month was Dandelion Dust by Faith Potts. Write Well by Rachelle Rea was also really good.

How was your June?
