My Life (in as many posts as it takes) #33

In which Mikayla share to many photos of herself, and shows off the fact that she found the manual focus on the camera in the form of random photos. ;D

I have more put together posts but I wanted to share this one and get it over with because as above said, it has photos of me in it. ;D

Update: Wow, I have some catching up to do in this department.
1. I've finished editing one of my story's called "A Princess by Disguise, a Cinderella re-telling. I was really excited to finish this story because I had been wanting to do it for awhile and I've already had several people like it! So I have some hope that its halfway good. ;D

Rose had a movie theamed party to welcome her home/see her off from film projects. So the next four photos are from our table, decorated for it. =D

She was a marketing person on Beyond the Mask.

2. Its spring in Texas. This isn't much a part of the update I just was excited about this fact so I wanted to share. =D We're still getting a few cold days but not a ton. =D

Rebekkah took this....

And then we took a selfie. =)

I loved my outfit a bit to much... This is a sideways photo of my skirt pocket.

3. I'm in two skits in the co-op I'm a part of. I'm so excited, I love acting and I got paired with some great kids to do these skits. I'll tell you how it goes when we preform. ;D

Selfie. I actually kinda liked this one,

'Nother one...
4. I have been a bit busy lately with school, homework and writing. This is unusual for me, because I ushally have tons of free time but since we joined the co-op for this semester I've had more stuff to do. I'm still not going at a neck-breaking speed but I am busy! =)

5. I could use some prayer because I sprained my right wrist some and so I'm having to wear a brace temporarily. Thankfully I don't have to wear it all the time! But it is getting in my way of typing some and some other projects so I'm praying that clears up pretty soon.

Was that random or what? I hope you enjoyed it anyway! =D

  1. aw, hope your wrist gets better soon! How did you hurt it? Ohh, I bet that feels good to actually finish writing something! Are you doing camp NaNo? I might be doing it in April, I've got a really good idea, perhaps even for a series depending on how it goes. But I need to jot down some more ideas. Are you going to be planning for April? Do you do both April and July? :)

    1. Um, I actually don't know. I woke up one morning and it hurt so I've been wearing the wrist brace. =P Thankfully its getting a lot better so I only have to wear it in the evening once I've worked it a lot. =)
Yes, I'm doing Camp NaNo, maybe you and I could start a cabin! =D Awesome! I love it when I get an idea like that! =D I'm (Hopefully) going to be finishing the first book in a trilogy I started almost a year ago. =D
Yep, I'm planing out for Aprail. How about I do a post on it? =D Yes, I'm already planing on doing July, though I'm not quite sure what book I'm going to be doing for it. =/ I've got plenty to pick from though. ;D

    2. Strange..hope it feels better soon anyways! Maybe it's from writing..I've done that before. :P
That would be awesome! Do you have to wait until April to make a cabin? :) What exactly is a cabin? I mean, I've seen it, but what do you do in it? :P Yeah, I'm kind of wanting to start it..but I should probably wait.. ;) I don't want to go for 50,000 yet, I'd rather go for 20.000, or 30,000..I know I can do 10.000, I've done that before that was pretty easy. So, I think either of those would work for me. :) Do you usually do 50,000 every time? This would be my first time doing NaNo. :) That would be awesome! I always love your writing posts, I was actually working on one myself.. :P I got carried away and wrote lots though, so I'll have to go back and edit. :)
Great! I already have an account on all of NaNo's websites. :D
Do you like plan books ahead of time? Like have lots of them? :) What time period do you write in? :)

    3. Thanks! Its feeling almost normal today! =D I haddn't thought about that but it might be. I have been writing a lot lately. ;D
Um, yes I think you have to wait until the month before to make a cabin. I'll see what I can do about making it when it comes up. Maybe we can get a group of Christian girls to do it. =D A cabin is basically a privet forum that only members of the cabin can view/post on. =D
No, I only do 50.000 for NaNo for CampNaNo I ushally do 10.000-30.000 because its a lot more relaxed that way and I find it almost more fun. =D I'm going to use CampNaNo this year to help me finish off a book. =D
Um, it depends on the book. If I'm planning on writing it for NaNo I usually write a little bit of an outline but most of the time I just take notes anytime I get an idea for the story and as I'm writing it I work them all into the story. =D I do have my books lined up before I write them though, or else I wouldn't ever know what to be working on. At the moment while I'm writing one story I'm also prepping my next story like picking out names and stuff. =D
I write in a lot of different time periods. I've done mostly Modern so far, but I've also done some Medieval, bibical, futuristic, and World War II books. =D I'm not good at sticking to one time. ;D

    4. Great! Yeah, it really hurts when you get "cramps" like that. :P
Hm, so March. I'll have to try it then. :D Oh fun! Can you make several cabins? :) Oh, ok, because I would rather do 10,000 to 30,000 as well. :D Have you ever done 50,000 for NaNo as well? :) Oh awesome! That's a neat way to do it. :D I've found that taking notes as I go along helps a lot as well, because with one story I made too much of an outline and it lost the fun, I felt as if I couldn't leave the "lines" but I've not been doing that, and I find it much more enjoyable. :D Names are so fun, but hard to find sometimes. I have a couple pages just for names in my notebook, I have a really big notebook that I use all for notes, then my AlphaSmart for writing. :D I am going to try and do a Medieval one this time, I've also done a historical fiction one and have been playing around with different things. :D haha, I can never seem to write in the present day, no matter how hard I try! :P I have no idea why..It's just harder for me. :P haha, sorry I could talk about writing forever! :)

    5. I don't know. I'll try in March if you'd like. =D Um, yes. You have to do 50.000 for NaNo and I've done that twice but I've never done it for Camp. Haha, see I am always finding myself back in present day. I find it so much easyer to write because I never have to think about "What did they call that?" and such. ;D Thats okay, I LOVE talking about writing and will talk with you about it as long as you'll have me. =D

    6. Yeah, I'll try it too. I have an account on Camp NaNo, but I don't know how to ask people to be your friends on there.. :P Really? I suppose it could be..but I am ALWAYS reading historical fiction, and I supposed I just learned the way they talked by reading so much, I almost never read something in the present day. I love the historical fiction, because most families were closer together, and the hardships were much different, depending on the time period. :D I am going to try and write a really clean (possible series) in medieval time period, something that I would be fine reading. I have trouble finding books that are good like that, so I'm going to try and make one! :D That's the best part about writing (or one of them) then you have the story you have always wanted to read. :D

    7. There is no friending on CampNaNo, their still working on that site. =P Yeah, family interaction was different back then. =) If you want some book recommendations for medieval/any time period books I'd be more then willing to. =) Do you have a Goodreads acount?

    8. ah, well maybe someday they will. :D I don't have a Goodreads account, but thanks! I've been trying to find some Christian ones, we'll see if I find any.. :P Well, I'll just have to make my own! Thanks!
